Monserrath Valeria Astudillo, known by her community as Val, is a Licensed Paralegal in Ontario who has established a successful practice for the past ten years in the Regional Municipality of Niagara. Her office is located downtown St. Catharines, conveniently down the street from the St. Catharines Courthouse.

Previous to starting her practice, Val was employed by Heelis, Williams, Little & Almas LLP (HWLA), a reputable law firm in the City of St. Catharines.
In 2008, she was employed by HWLA for two years in the capacity of a Licensed Paralegal. In 2010, Val commenced her practise; VALERIE ASTUDILLO LICENSED PARALEGAL.

Val has now been successfully operating her independent practise from within HWLA law office for past ten years. Academically, Val is an alumna of the University of Ottawa where she has earned a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Criminology. She is also an alumna of Sheridan College Institute of Higher Learning and Technology where she graduated with high honors from the Court and Tribunal agent program.

Throughout her educational career, Val successfully earned an Academic and Athletic Scholarship from Sheridan College and several academic bursaries from the University of Ottawa. Val continues to engage in professional development programs as her belief remains that with a dedication to education and hard work success shall be achieved.
